Gym: How can I increase True Protein sales within my gym?Updated 9 days ago

Increasing sales within your gym starts with creating meaningful connections between your members, trainers, and the products you offer. By building trust, offering value, and educating your community, you can turn everyday interactions into consistent sales opportunities.

1. Leverage Trainer Endorsements
Encourage trainers to personally use True Protein products and integrate them into their clients’ nutrition plans. Clients are more likely to purchase supplements recommended by someone they trust.

Offer trainers small incentives- such as commissions or discounts on their own supplements for every sale they generate. This not only rewards their advocacy but also helps turn them into passionate brand ambassadors.

2. Host Product Sampling Events
Set up product sampling stations in the gym, ideally near class areas or after workout zones, where members can taste True Protein products. You can also utiise the samples in the incentives to encourage members to try the products. Sampling allows members to experience the taste, texture, and quality firsthand- often leading to spontaneous purchases.

Organise regular demo days with knowledgeable gym staff to explain the benefits of the products and offer free samples. These events help raise brand awareness and educate members on how the products align with their fitness goals.

3. Focus on Education-Driven Marketing
Share educational content through the gym’s social media channels, newsletters, or notice boards that highlight the benefits of protein and supplementation. Use testimonials, success stories, and “trainer tips” featuring True Protein products to build credibility and engagement.

The marketing drop box on the True Protein portal offers great resources to get started with professional, ready-to-use materials.

4. Bundle Products with Membership Packages
Incorporate True Protein samples, shaker bottles, or discount vouchers into new member welcome packs. This early exposure helps members become familiar with the brand and encourages repeat purchases.

You can also create value-added bundles such as a “Protein + Membership” offer, which includes True Protein products at a slightly discounted rate. Bundles not only increase sales but also enhance the perceived value of membership.

5. Optimise Product Display and Availability
Place True Protein products in high-visibility, high-traffic areas — like near the reception desk or juice bar- to encourage impulse buys.

Maintain a consistent core range of True Protein products in stock so members can rely on your gym as their go-to source. Consistency builds trust and reduces the likelihood of customers purchasing elsewhere.
